Reunion Information

Hello to all our friends and classmates. Greetings from the 50th Reunion Planning Committee. Here is the letter that you've been expecting regarding the 50th Reunion of the great, great Class of '58! Approximately a dozen members of our graduating class have been meeting over the past few months to plan for what we all believe will be a truly great and fun filled get-together for our 50th Class Reunion. This is the first official announcement of the Reunion and the committee hopes that this finds each of you, and your families well and in good health.

We are hoping for a terrific turnout, just as we had at our 45th. Please mark your calendar and save these dates as you make plans to join us for what will turn out to be a "FABULOUS" event. We are sending along, in this mailing, the details that have been completed as of this date. We are genuinely excited and enthusiastic about this event and hope that you will be, also. We send along a very, very special invitation to those of you who may not have been able to attend previous reunions. Those who have attended in the past are universal in their appreciation for the good times that they had, and for the warmth and sincerity that they experienced in meeting and reminiscing with old friends from the Class of '58. Please join us for a great weekend!

Reunion Events Scheduled: (Weekend of June 6-8, 2008)

Friday, June 6:

5 to 6 p.m. - "Meet and Greet" social gathering at the Desmond Hotel. Cash bar. Casual, business dress.
6 to 10 p.m. - Buffet Dinner. Cash bar.

Saturday, June 7:

Noon - Guided tour of Conestoga High School, followed by an informal luncheon at the school. You will be amazed at the additions and improvements that were completed in recent years.
6 to 7 p.m. - Social Hour. Community/social room of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Conestoga Road, Devon. Casual dress.
7 to 10 p.m. - A lovely catered dinner will be served. You may bring wine and/or beer to this affair. There will be a "memorabilia" table with photos and class items. We will take time to remember and honor the members of our class who have passed on since graduation.

Sunday, June 8:

9 to 11 a.m. - Dining space for Conestoga class will be available at the Desmond Hotel, and breakfast will be on your own. Order from the menu.

Reservations, Costs, etc.

A follow-up letter will be sent out in January outlining all the costs, along with a reservation form. When you recieve the reservation form, please fill it out, along with the personal/biographical data on the reverse side of the form, and send it back ASAP with your check. You may also reply on-line, and the details of how to do this will be included in the letter. We ask that you MARK THE DATES NOW, while it is fresh in your mind, because we want to have as many members as possible of the "Great, Great Class of '58" attend this 50th Reunion.
