Dear Classmates

Welcome to the Website for our 50th Class Reunion. This website has been created by the Reunion Planning Committee that has been working for several months on making the arrangements for our 50th Class Reunion, which is to be held on the weekend of June 6th to 8th, 2008. This website is currently a work in progress, as of October, 2007. A group of high school students who are currently enrolled in an advanced level web design class, has agreed to work with our Planning Committee to create and maintain this website for at least the next 8 or 9 months, up until the time of our 50th Class Reunion. The plan is to build this website as an information and communication vehicle, so that our class members can receive information about our upcoming class reunion, and, also, it will serve as a communication tool, as well as a bulletin board, for our class members to share information and messages with other members of our "Great, Great Class of ’58."

It is our hope that the Website will be fully operational and functional by late this fall, so that each of our class members will be able to locate and communicate with our fellow classmates, via e-mail, telephone, etc., as well as by posting blog type information directly to this site. It is also our plan to encourage all class members to submit background, lifetime pursuits, and interesting "tidbits" of information about your experiences over these many years, since our high school days, to this site. When the site is fully "up and running" we will send along information, in a letter, after the first of the year, about how you all can access and utilize the website to provide interesting anecdotes about your life experiences, in preparation for our reunion in June of 2008. It is our hope that in creating this communication vehicle that our reunion experience will be enhanced, and that friendships can be renewed and rekindled in ways that will enrich each of our lives in positive, rewarding ways.

In the meantime, we wish to send along this Website Address so that you can make a note of it for future reference. It is solely the property of our Class of ’58, as a domain name/address, and it has been registered in our class’ name for the next 10 years. You will note that the initial letter announcing the basic details is posted on this site, as well as the names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the Reunion Planning Committee members. We encourage you to feel perfectly free to contact any of the members of the Planning Committee to seek any additional information or assistance that you might need regarding our upcoming reunion. We are more than happy to assist in any way to make this reunion a truly memorable experience for all of our class members. In the near future, we will post a list of “missing” class members, and we encourage you to contact anyone on the Planning Committee if you know the address or location of any of these folks.

We send along our best wishes to each of you, and we will be contacting you with additional information and a Registration Form, as well as a request for your biographical/background information, to be included in the Reunion Booklet, right after the first of the year. Best wishes from the Planning Committee, and please let us know if there is anything that we can do to make this reunion experience a fantastic and memorable event for all of us.

Sincerely,

The Class of ’58
